Here are the best-ranged weapons for you to use in OSRS.
Do you want to know which weapons are the best for ranged in OSRS? Here is what you need to know.
When you are playing Old School Runescape, you will want to make the most of every aspect of it. If you are playing for OSRS gold, then you might have looked into how to buy OSRS gold or finding the best places where there is OSRS gold for sale. If you are collecting OSRS weapons, then you will want to know which are the best for you to use. With that in mind, here are the best-ranged weapons that you will find in OSRS.
This is a popular OSRS weapon, though it isn’t a bow nor a crossbow that you would find on a list such as this, Toxic Blowpipe is incredibly effective. Made by using a chisel on a tanzanite fang, you can make a deadly weapon that is super useful in a number of instances. You will need level 53 Fletching in order to make this Toxic Blowpipe, and once you have you can hit your enemy with venom potentially, which would normally start with 25%. To increase this to 100% you will need to get a Serpentine Helm.
It also has the Toxic Siphon special range attack, which can heal you with half of the damage that is dealt with by your enemy, which increases the damage by 50%.
If accuracy is something that you are looking for, then the Crystal Bow is the best choice. With a +100 attack ranged bonus to hand, you will be hard-pressed to find an OSRS weapon in which you can have such a magic longbow range. With that in mind, it is a fantastic choice if you are going into a battle where you will have to use a ranged strategy.
There are a couple of requirements for you to meet, however. You need range training to be at level 70, whilst your agility will need to be up to level 50. The Roving Elves will also need to have been completed.
The Armadyl Crossbow is something that you should definitely pick up for all-around good stats. It offers players range, accuracy as well as attack speeds. If the accuracy isn’t enough, then you can double it with the Armadyl Eye special attack.
If you want to get the crossbow, then get your ranged level up to 70. To find it, we are going to need to head to the God Wars Dungeon to do battle with Commander Zilyana and pick up the crossbow bolt as a drop.
This is a favorite of many players who want to adapt to the powerful ranged style of play. With OSRS range of up to 10 tiles, this is a popular choice in that it works in ways that aren’t familiar with other OSRS bows. Twisted Bow offers additional damage and accuracy which will vary on the magic accuracy and level of who you are fighting with. That is why Twisted Bow is often used in battles where the boss or monster’s magic levels are higher than usual. What’s more, it also has the advantage of being able to use any OSRS bows within the game.
It is available at the Chambers of Xeric and can be spotted in a couple of additional locations around the world, though these are either decorative or used by NPCs. If you want to wield the bow, then you will have to get your Old School Runescape ranged skill up to 75.
When you use this Craw Bow weapon with a revenant ether to power it, you are looking at yet another Runescape weapon where the accuracy is very high. You can stack it too with a slayer helmet or a salve amulet, and when combining this with the fact that it can offer boosted damage to NPCs when in the wilderness, then you can certainly expect a lot from it when you are in this area.
That being said, you will need to go to the Revenant Caves to get it as a drop from revenants there. Your ranged level will need to be at level 60 to use it, and you will need to be able to power up this powerful range weapon. That being said, the fact it doesn’t use up ammunition is another great bonus.
These are a few great examples of what great ranged weapons OSRS are within the game. If you want to purchase gold from a site that will sell OSRS gold to help you get your hands on these OSRS weapons, then in certain situations it may well be worth your time doing so.
